Something that is VERY IMPORTANT if you find a hedgehog in trouble is: WARMTH!
They need to be taken indoors, NOT left outside! This can mean the difference between life or death!
The second most important thing is WATER to drink.
Then a secure box or carrier to keep them in until you can get them to a rescue.
A warm water bottle that can’t roll on top of them & a fleece or blanket to snuggle up to & hide under while they are with you is good.
Getting to a rescue QUICKLY is essential to give them the best outcome.
